The Quinnian Trust, a Registered Charity, was founded by a group of Trustees who had a common association with North Cornwall, some being residents and others being annual visitors.

Their desire was to put something back into the local community; particularly to help young people and other organisations who enabled the young to carry out maritime activities and other pursuits which promote concern for others and help disadvantaged people both locally and further afield. Since 1991 just over £20,000 has been raised.
